How did you get into design?

As long as I can remember, I’ve always loved fashion, art, shapes, colors, textures, papers, and creating new stuff with these elements. Although I knew I wanted to be a designer I also dreamt about being a doctor. After living in Paris for one year, I decided to study graphic design first and get to med school afterwards. (spoiler alert: med school didn’t happen — at least not yet).

Why are you at Liferay?

Because of its culture and core values, I love working with such amazing and talented people. I love working in a company with such a meaningful purpose.

Paper + pencil. Back to basics at least to ignite the creative process in my brain. It gives me mental structure and lets me organize myself as well.

Baking sourdough bread and cooking.

One misconception about design you try to clear up?

Design is just about making things look nice.

If you weren’t designing, what would you be doing?

Probably in med school or working in a hospital as a Pediatric Surgeon.

Sometimes a little messy but always full of color.

Favorite place to visit?
